Release Dates for Horripilant and Mourning Tide Announced at The Horror Game Awards

Kraków, Poland (December 16, 2025) – At this weekend’s Horror Game Awards, Black Lantern Collective revealed release dates for two of their upcoming indie horror titles with all-new trailers. Horripilant heads to Steam on February 13th, 2026 and Mourning Tide follows on April 30th. Demos for both games are now available on Steam.
The Horror Game Awards is organized by a hardcore community of freakos dedicated to celebrating a genre that’s often overlooked, and it’s the perfect place to share a preview of the terrors that await in the new year. We hope these unsettling teases keep you up at night as you anticipate the full releases over the next few months.
From Pas Game, Horripilant is a chilling incremental dungeon crawl through the horrors of a forgotten underworld. Combining idler, puzzle and autobattler elements, you'll fight, mine, and think your way through the depths of a forsaken dungeon. With each step you'll grow stronger, but beware; every boon has its cost. Encounter bizarre characters, solve cryptic puzzles, and survive the horrors that lurk in every shadow. Will you escape this living nightmare, or will it consume you?
Developed by Liquid Squid, Mourning Tide is a fishing horror game with unique mechanics that reward your skill and evolve as you progress. Each fish behaves differently and requires quick thinking to overcome. Unravel a tragic tale of guilt and loss, where the past is never far behind and the sea holds secrets that may never let you go.
