Play in a Train, a 1990s Apartment, and a Massive Bunker at the Ukiyo Studios Booth at Tokyo Game Show

Over 30 Games, Including New Demos for Core Keeper, Rain98, Flawless Abbey, and More

Melbourne, Australia (Sep 14, 2026) — Ukiyo Studios is showing up strong at Tokyo Game Show 2026, partnering with CRITICAL REFLEX, Fireshine Games, C#4R4CT3R, 2P Games, and more indie developers and publishers from around the world to put together one of the biggest and boldest booths we’ve ever designed. You can stop by Fireshine’s area to play Denshattack! inside a train. We’ve recreated Reina’s apartment from Rain98, and we’ve teamed up with CRITICAL REFLEX to build an all-new experience within a bunker that you absolutely have to try for yourself.

You can find more details on everything below, but be sure to join us in Hall 4, Booth C08 to play some great games, take some photos, and get some goodies between Sep 17 - 21st, the longest TGS in history.

CRITICAL REFLEX presents the bunker - enter if you dare!
Behind a sealed bunker door, find the cluttered bedroom of Shiaru, CRITICAL REFLEX’s new mascot: a sleep-deprived, terminally online curator of weird games, broken hardware, and things nobody asked for but everyone needs. Solve your way out while exploring CRITICAL REFLEX’s library and interact with the deadpan, expressive, and obsessive Shiaru! (voiced by Yumiri Hanamori of Kaguya-sama: Love is War, Yuru Camp, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Genshin Impact fame)

(The experience takes about 30 minutes)

TANUKI: Pon’s Summer from CRITICAL REFLEX
TANUKI has been making a splash on its pre-release tour, and Pon is getting his packages loaded up for the game’s full release. You owe it to yourself to explore this heartwarming adventure, making deliveries around town while doing BMX tricks, helping your neighbors through various mini-games, and raising funds to restore the local shrine.

Flawless Abbey from CRITICAL REFLEX

, Flawless Abbey is a vibrant adventure inside a dream-tower, blending horror, hand-drawn art, and a deeply emotional story. You are a dreamseeker, and this is just another day on the job. What’s in store this time? A vast, revolving tower that moves and breathes in rhythm with a haunting lullaby? Your mission is to reach the top and change the abbess's mind. Otherwise, this dream will never end. — You do want to wake up again, don’t you?

The expansion also includes a hookshot to cross chasms without building bridges. A new mossy sub-biome is opening up for players to explore. Plus, there are new pets, weapons, armor, and quality of life improvements. Play the demo at the booth to get a peek at everything Riders of the Underground has to offer before its official release on September 21st, and we’ll even have a glimpse of the Core itself.

Additionally, Fireshine will have demos for both Denshattack! and Far Far West, and they will be there in style! If you haven’t played either of these excellent titles, it’s a great chance to get acquainted with them. Denshattack! will be playable inside of a train car, while we’ve brought the saloon to life from Far Far West. We’ll also have plenty of mementos to pick up, including toy trains, cowboy hats, and more!

The original games were among the first European games to secure a Japanese release on the Super Famicom and they sold over 2 million copies across all platforms.

It Takes Paws from 2P Games

A hilarious physics co-op platformer where a cat and a pug venture into a fantasy game world to save their unconscious owner. Using their floppy, "noodle-man" human as a living rope and lever, players must coordinate to bite, swing, and launch each other through wild obstacles—or playfully sabotage their partner!
