Mina the Hollower, Rain98, and Two Brazilian Horror Games Highlight Ukiyo Studios First Showing at gamescom latam

Melbourne, Australia – April 22, 2026 –- After successful showings at gamescom in Germany and gamescom asia, Ukiyo Studios is excited to attend gamescom latam for the first time. We’re bringing a selection of indie games to Latin American players, as well as highlighting local talent for international attendees. gamescom latam continues to grow as a global hub for the gaming industry, and we’re proud to add it to our 2026 schedule. Come find us in Booth A1.1!

From Brazilian developer, Eduardo Scarpato we have Don’t Let it Starve, the horrifying bento-builder that tasks you with strategically arranging plates to boost synergies and satisfy the beast hiding within the walls. Additionally, Black Lantern Collective has another horror title from Brazilian devs, making its worldwide debut at gamescom latam.

After generating plenty of buzz at PAX East, Rain98 is making its way to Brazil, with a localized demo, including options for Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish. The artistry and sound design speak for themselves, immersing you with the nostalgic feel of 90s Japan.

Next up is Mina the Hollower, the highly anticipated action adventure title from Yacht Club Games, makers of Shovel Knight. Bigger than all of the Shovel Knight content combined, the final game is just around the corner, and you can get a taste of what it’s like to play with this burrowing, whip-cracking mouse on the show floor.

From Australia’s We Made A Thing Studios, we have a multiplayer demo for the comedic Box Knight, a co-op roguelike that has you brawling through the office after-hours to purge monsters spawned from a toxic workplace.

And for the first time in our booth, we’re bringing Croak, a colorful platformer with gorgeous animations, featuring artists who previously worked on Cuphead and Rick & Morty! We saw the game get a lot of attention during the latest Steam Next Fest, so we’re excited to bring it to Brazil!

We invite gamescom latam attendees to come see all the incredible games that Ukiyo Studios is presenting at this year’s show in Booth A1.1!

Media and content creators who would like to reserve press appointments can email pr@ukiyostudios.com to book times. We will have a Portuguese interpreter at the booth if you would like to know more about the games.
